Canada ⇆ US Cross-Border Carrier

Home/About

Open-deck freight is all we do — and we do it properly.

13131238 Canada Inc is a Brampton, Ontario carrier built around one kind of work: moving freight that will not fit in a dry van, anywhere in Canada or the United States.

Open deck is not a sideline for us. It is the whole business.

Based in Brampton, Ontario — in the middle of one of the busiest freight corridors in North America — 13131238 Canada Inc runs one fleet built around one job: steel, machinery, modular sections and heavy iron that loads from the side, from the top, or drives straight on.

We chose to specialize because open-deck freight punishes generalists. Securement standards, permit rules, escort requirements, route restrictions — the details change at every border and on every load. Doing one thing means our equipment, our gear and our people are pointed at those details full-time.

When you book with us, the person who rates your load is the person who tracks it to the receiver. You get a direct line, securement photos before departure, and updates before you have to ask for them.

  • Canada & US cross-border — bonded lanes in both directions, paperwork handled.
  • Permits, pilot cars & route surveys — coordinated in-house, priced up front.
  • Fully insured — certificate of insurance available on request before you book.

How we work

Four rules every load rolls on.

Safety before schedule

A load that is not secured properly does not move — no matter how tight the delivery window is.

Say it straight

Real rates, real timelines, permit costs up front. If we can't cover a lane, we tell you on the first call.

On time, every mile

Pickup windows confirmed in writing, tracking while the load moves, and a signed POD when it lands.

Equipped right

Every truck carries the chains, straps, tarps and edge protection the freight actually needs.

Safety & securement

Nothing moves until it's tied down right.

Open-deck freight has no walls. Every chain, strap and binder on the load is doing the job a dry van's walls do — so we treat securement as the core of the work, not a checkbox.

  • Full securement kit on every truck — chains, binders, straps, tarps, coil racks and edge protection.
  • Photographed before departure — securement photos sent with dispatch confirmation.
  • Checked en route — load checks at every stop, re-tensioned as freight settles.
  • Daily equipment inspection — trucks and trailers inspected before every dispatch.

Drive with us

Drivers & owner-operators.

We are always interested in experienced open-deck drivers and owner-operators running their own equipment. If you know your way around chains, tarps and permits — or you want to learn from people who do this full-time — we should talk.

You'll pull flatbed, step deck and RGN freight across Canada and the US with dispatch that answers the phone.
